A hop from good skiing at Klewenalp-Stockhuette

Back in February, thanks to our friends, we discovered that just about an hour drive from Basel in a town near Lucern is fabulous skiing.  It's a stone's throw from the freeway...park, take the gondola up to the slopes, and - voila - skiing.

I was not planning to post these photos, as Spring appears to be on the horizon.  However, it looks like we may still have a few days, if not weeks, of Winter to endure, so sharing photos taken at this ski resort seems appropriate.

I did not ski on this trip and spent time walking around with a friend.  So, I can only relay what my husband and children said about skiing in Klewenalp - They loved it.
